explosions in the sky.

So I had my parents over my place for Independence Day celebratory activities today. Celebrating July 4 means drinking beer, eating a lot of excellent food (the ‘rents brought stuff from Flushing, including some of the best dan dan noodles I’ve ever had, from an excellent restaurant called Spicy & Tasty, but that’s the subject of another post), watching a Japanese samurai movie, and finally, sitting outside in the rain and waiting for the Macy’s fireworks show.
