buona sera e buona notte.

Landed in Rome today at 1pm. Am sitting in my hotel lobby paying 10 euro cents per minute to use the internet. Ate dinner at a touristy restaurant (gathered the business card to help kick off our new restaurant review site), walked around rome at night, got ripped off in a bar which turned out (unwittingly) to be a hooker haven. Bleh. Disgust. Had to pay to leave. Fuckers. No pun intended. Too much money spent already, but this is vacation. I vow to be more careful from here on out.

And thus concludes my second introduction to the eternal city. Much more expensive than the first, but I wouldn’t give anything to be anywhere else right now. Ah, europa.
