going on a safari.

As a great big web design geek, my excitement could barely be contained after learning that Apple’s Safari web browser is now available for PC’s. This saves me a great deal of trouble when it comes to testing cross-browser compatibility for any sites I design. And it also lets me pretend that I’m using a Mac. I’m writing this post in Safari right now, and they’ve done a really good job of making it look and feel exactly like it does on a Mac, from font anti-aliasing to the way text boxes hightlight to the glossy plastic look of form buttons. The only thing that’s missing is the brushed aluminum skin on the interface.

Stuck with a PC and wish you had a MacBook Pro? Go ahead and download Safari…now just wait with me for them to release OS-X for PC.
