dkoo dot net REBOOTED

You might have noticed that things have changed a bit around here. I’ve been working on a redesign for this site in an attempt to make things a little more attractive, a little cleaner, a little easier to use. You won’t care if you don’t know anything about website design, but the code is also a lot better this time around. Welcome to v6.0 of dkoo dot net — in an utterly pretentious webgeek fashion, I hereby dub it the Cloud Zero theme, after an obscure tune by Porcupine Tree.

So, feel free to take another look around and get your bearings. Probably the most significant update other than the layout is that I added a project to the gallery page. Otherwise, the site’s content is pretty much the same as before, just the look is different — the great thing about Wordpress is the ability to switch between completely different page layouts at the click of a button while maintaining the site’s content. Still, it took me many sleepless nights to finish this new theme. And it’s still not completely tested, so if you see any bugs, please shoot me an email — I’d greatly appreciate it.

In the future, I want to add some more music and personal projects (which would, of course, first require *doing* some more) and maybe experiment with adding some other widgets in the sidebar which is currently very minimalist. But that’s for the future; I’m a little burnt out on messing around with Wordpress themes at the moment, and I need to concentrate on finishing my current freelance project. So that’s it for now. Comments and critiques are welcome. Cheers!
